Discount Electronics 360 - Internet Scams

Discount Electronics 360
Discount electronics 360, The website YourDigitalElectronics.com has been determined to be a fraud. This website is one of thousands of Internet scam sites that we all need to look out for.

After many different attempts to contact the company behind the website, it has been determined that it is a scam. Jeff Garstecki attempted to contact everyone on the contact information page of the website with no results.

Things that tipped off Jeff to this site can be helpful to you as an Internet consumer. Here are a few things that should get your attention. Misspelled words and type-o's on the web page are usually an immediate red flag. Having a purchase minimum when trying to buy items. Finally addresses outside of the U.S. or a payable address different than the company's address.

Always be care when doing business over the Internet and be very suspicious of sites that only take cash/ wire transfers.

Discount Electronics 360 - Tis' the Season

Discount Electronics 360
Discount Electronics 360, Ties' the Season for discount electronics. From everything you hear on T.V. electronics are going to be the hot item for this years Christmas season. Every cell phone maker and T.V manufacturer are pushing their products on the consumers heavily.

I have found that e-bay is a great way to find what you need and get a good price at the same time. Many different retailers actually use e-bay to sell there stock. The Buy It Now price is usually lower than what you can get in a local store.

As always, when doing business on e-bay, remember to be very careful with companies that do not take paypal.

Discount Electronics 360 - No Store Needed

Discount Electronics 360
Discount Electronics 360, The discount electronic industry has grown very board with retailers and wholesaler these days. With Internet shopping becoming more prevalent there are more and more discount electronic dealers.

I am an audiophile and remember actually having to go to the store to buy my electronics. I enjoyed seeing everything that was available. Getting a chance to listen to all the different equipment. Having a salesperson, who understood the equipment and could explain the differences. I still do my stereo purchasing that way, but when it comes to any other electronic needs I use Internet discount retailers.

If you know exactly what you are looking for generally you will find it cheaper on the Internet. These retailers are able to offer products at very low prices because they drop ship the products and usually do not have the cost of inventory. Also, most do not even have showrooms eliminating even more overhead.

Just remember if you know exactly what you want an Internet discount electronics dealer most likely will have the best price.

Discount Electronics 360 - CompUSA Calls it Quits

Discount Electronics 360, After 23 years in business CompUSA is calling it quits. CompUsa was a computer and electronics specialty box chain store that was in competition with the likes of Wal-Mart and Best Buy.

CompUSA was founded in 1984, in Long Island, N.Y. as a software reseller under the name of Soft Warehouse. In 1991 the company took on the name CompUSA and went public. In 2000 Carlos Slim a billionaire from Mexico bought up the stock and make it private again.

Since 2000 the company has gone through several CEOs and many different market strategies. Unfortunately in the 3rd quarter of 2007, CompUSA had a $45.7 million dollar loss. This was the stick that broke the camel's back.
The company has already closed more than half of the stores and plans to have the remaining stores closed by the end of the end.
